Das Zentrum für Berufsausbildung, Arbeitsvermittlung und Rehabilitierung der Behinderten der Provinz befindet sich in der gleichnamigen Provinzhauptstadt Ha Tinh im Stadtviertel Tran Phu.
Zielgruppe
Zielgruppe des Projektes im allgemeinen sind die hörgeschädigten, blinden, körperlich und geistig behinderten Kinder, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen der Provinz Ha Tinh, die Ärmsten der Gesellschaft, die nicht oder nur in geringem Maße arbeitsfähig und deshalb meist von der Gesellschaft ausgegrenzt sind, 224 Menschen pro Jahr, mittelfristig (in zehn Jahren) ca. 2.000 Ausgebildete, deren Familien, die überwiegend von Subsistenzwirtschaft mit einem Jahreseinkommen von weniger als 350 $ leben und die Mitarbeiter/Innen des Zentrums, insofern sie Schäden durch das Hochwasser erlitten haben.
Das Hühnerprojekt
Durch die Flut hat es viele Kinder des Behindertenzentrum getroffen und das Zentrum selbst. Es wurden Schäden an Gebäuden, der Elektrik, Computern, Druckmaschinen und der Wasserversorgung verursacht. Da die Preise für Lebensmittelmittel in Vietnam derzeit wieder ansteigen, hat sich Save the Childrens Souls entschlossen die Dinge in die Hand zu nehmen und unterstützt 4 der am schwersten betroffenen behinderten Jugendlichen bei dem Aufbau einer Hühnerzucht.
Wir wollen zusammen eine Hühnerzucht aufbauen, um somit die betroffenen Schüler, aber auch das Zentrum selbst, nachhaltig zu fördern und zu unterstützen. Durch den Verkauf von Eiern und später den Verkauf von Hühnerfleisch will Save the Childrens Souls eine unabhängige Einnahmequelle für die betroffenen Kinder aufbauen. Die Schutzbefohlenen des Zentrums sind im Alter zwischen 18 und 25 Jahren, und allesamt geistig oder Körperlich behindert. Betreut und überwacht wird das Projekt vor Ort durch das Behindertenzentrum Ha Tinh zudem noch von Christian Volker Ide, der Leiter von Save the Childrens Souls ist.

Chicken breeding project to provide source of income to the Disabled People Centre affected by the flood in Ha Tinh
Project site
The centre for the professional training, employment seeking and rehabilitation for the disabled people of the province is situated in the town called Phu, in Ha Tinh Province. We worked for the target group which are those who are deaf, blind, physically and mentally disabled children, adolescents and adults in the Ha Tinh Province, the poorest group of the society who have limitations to work. This group of people are, thus, the marginalized group in the society. In this centre, they accept about 224 disable people per year. For a medium term plan (in 10 years), they expected to have 2,000 disabled people trained. These people and their family live mainly from selling products from farming with an annual income of less than US$ 350. This centre and its staff were severely affected from the flooding that hit central Vietnam in October 2010.
The Chicken Project
The flood that recently hit Ha Tinh caused damages to the centre and those disabled people living in the centre. The damages were the buildings, the electrical system, computers and machines as well as water supply. Because of the increase in grocery prices in Vietnam, Save the Children’s Souls determined to improve the economic capacity of the four most heavily affected handicapped youths by implementing a chicken bleeding project. We also planned to build a chicken farm to support the affected children and promote the lasting effects of the project. By selling the eggs and later the chicken meats, Save the Children’s Souls built up an independent source of income for the affected children.
The age of the children at this centre is between 18 and 25 years old all of whom are disabled either mentally or physically. This project is monitored and supervised on site by the Disability Centre in Ha Ting as well as by Christian Volker Ide, the Director of the Save the Children’s Souls.
